Dear Stakeholders,
I write to you as someone deeply committed to the well-being of our families and the broader community. My nearly decade-long association with Southfield Youth Assistance has been a journey of heartening engagement and meaningful contribution. From my own educational pursuits, rising from a G.E.D. to a Ph.D., I have embraced the power of learning and the importance of giving back to the community that has given me so much.
Serving as the Chair of SYA Youth Recognition, Family Chair, and in the past as President and Vice President, I have seen firsthand the transformative power of support and recognition in the lives of our young people and their families. These roles have not only been titles but pathways through which I could contribute to the empowerment of our community’s youth.
As we continue to strive for excellence, I invite each of you to join us in this noble endeavor.
