Join us for a viewing and discussion of the documentary Girl Rising, detailing the pursuit of an education by young women from several different countries.

Saturday, February 25, 2017
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Southfield Parks and Recreation
26000 Evergreen Rd. Room 115

In addition, an Emotional Intelligence workshop will be provided to allow participants to reflect and debrief.

Each unique story covers the challenges and obstacles girls around the world face as they stand up for their human right to acquire and education.

Through this presentation we hope to encourage each young lady in attendance to continue her pursuit of an education and achieve her life goals.

Please join us as we focus on strengthening Southfield's families by connecting youths throughout our community. Southfield school girls between ages 10 and 18 years old are invited. Mothers/guardians are highly encouraged to join their daughters.

FREE ADMISSION.
DONATION TO GIRL RISING WILL BE ACCEPTED.

All young ladies in attendance will be entered into a prize drawing.
